CCP Central Committee proposal on formulating
the 11th Five-Year Programme for National Economic and Social Development
points out: ¡°It is necessary to accelerate transformation of the growth
mode. It is necessary to take resource conservation as the basic policy of
the nation, to develop a cycling economy and to protect ecological
environment ¡. To persevere in resource-efficient, clean and safe
development, and achieve sustainable development. To persevere in
promoting industrialization by informatization, to reconstruct and upgrade
manufacturing industry by widely applying high tech and advanced and
applicable technologies, and to realize breakthroughs in the fields of
high-efficient and clean electricity generation, transmission and
transformation, large-scale petrochemical engineering, advanced and
applicable transportation equipment, top grade numerically controlled
machine tools, autocontrol, integrated device electronics and advanced
power sets, etc. To devote major efforts to developing such kernel
industries as integrated circuit and software, etc., based on the overall
developing trends of digitization, networking and intelligentization. To
implement a mandatory elimination system for high-consumption,
high-pollution and technological backward techniques and products.¡±
The foregoing statements
designate the direction of development of the measurement and control
technology. More efforts shall be given to research and assessment of
functional safety of measuring equipment and control systems and providing
technical support for the treatment of ¡°high-consumption of energy and
material, and high-pollution.¡±
The 7th Industrial
Instrumentation and Automation Conference, which is jointly sponsored by
the Society of Process Measurement and Control Instrument under China
Instrument Society, the Society of Reliability Engineering under China
Instrument Society, the Technical Committee of Instrument and Apparatus
under China Automation Society, Process Automation Instrumentation
Sub-Association of China Instrument Manufacturer¡¯s Association, Shanghai
Inspection and Testing Institute of Instruments and Automatic Systems, and
Technology Exchange Limited, and supported by China Instrument Society,
China Automation Society and the China Instrument Manufacturer¡¯s
Association, will take the functional safety and the treatment of
¡°high-consumption of energy and material, and high-pollution¡± as its
theme, widely exchange and discuss the functional safety of measuring
instruments and control systems and their application in treating
¡°high-consumption and high-pollution¡±.
Professionals engaged in
research, development, management and application, and teachers,
postgraduates and undergraduates in this field are warmly welcome to
actively participate in this conference and submit papers to exchange and
discuss new achievements, new products and latest development of
measurement and control technology and automation. A supplement to the
periodical ¡°Process Automation Instrumentation¡± and the proceedings of the
conference will be edited and published. Excellent papers will get
priority to be published in the periodicals ¡°Process Automation
Instrumentation¡± and ¡°International Instrumentation and Automation¡±.

during the 11th Five-year Plan period;
2, Research, assessment and
realization of functional safety of measurement and control instruments
and systems;
3, The latest development of
explosion protection technology of measurement and control instruments and
systems, and the integration and optimization of solutions of explosion
protection;
4, Application and
achievements of measurement and control instruments and automatic systems
in treating ¡°high-consumption of energy and materials and high-pollution¡±
in various industries;
5, New technologies
concerning sensing, measurement (including parameters of flow, level,
temperature, pressure, mechanical quantity, composition quantity, etc),
display, control and actuation, and digitization, intelligentization,
networking and integration of instrumentation;
6, Application and
development of Network and communication technologies, Fieldbus,
industrial Ethernet, wireless communication technology, software
technique, advanced control technology, converter technique, seamless
interlinking technique, diagnostic and early-warning techniques,
soft-measurement technique, etc. in the field of process automation;
7, ERP, MES, FCS and
enterprise management and control Integration;
8, Other new technologies and products in the field of process measurement
and control and automation.

¢ò. Requirements on
the papers:
1, The papers shall give
representations of the most advanced level with explicit argument, ample
evidence and reliable data. The paper shall be generally less then 5000
words, together with an abstract within 500 words and several keywords;
2, The name, working unit,
address and post code of the author shall be listed below the title.
Bibliography and the true name, date of birth, sex, professional title,
degree, post, postal address, E-mail address, phone and fax numbers of the
author shall be clearly indicated at the end of the papers;
3, The papers shall be sent
to the organizer by E-mail in Microsoft Word and A4 format;
4, Illustrations, if any,
shall be legible, accurate and in appropriate size;
5, Papers that have already
been published in other publications will, in principle, not be adopted;
6, No contributed papers will
be returned, please keep a copy yourself.

reading:
The solicitation of papers of
this conference will be closed on March 31, 2006. Authors will be noticed
before April 20, 2006 if their papers adopted or not, and will be informed
about the date, venue and address of the conference in detail.
