Flow
Measurement Laboratory initiated the testing and calibration of
flow measuring instrument in China.

The
laboratory is equipped with a variety of modernized flow test
rigs, with which calibrations can be performed on:
1) Tool
measuring devices for DN 200mm and below testing pipes of
standard device for water flow with volumetric method;
2) Standard
tank for sonic nozzle gas flow calibration facility;
3) Standard
meter for sonic nozzle gas flow calibration facility;
4) Standard
meter for sonic Venturi nozzle gas flow calibration facility;
5) Liquid
flow parameter and gas flow parameter. ¡¡

Tests
can be conducted on a large variety of liquid flow measuring
instruments with the nominal size ranging from DN 25 mm to DN 1000
mm:
1) Differential
pressure devices (orifice plate, nozzle, Venturi tube);
2) Electromagnetic flowmeter;
3) Vortex
precession flowmeter;
4) Vortex-shedding
meter
5) Glass
tube-and-float meter
6) Metal
tube-and-float meter
7) Volumetric flowmeter;
8) Water
meter;
9) Averaging
speed flow transducer
10) Flowmeters
for gas flow measurement with the nominal size ranging form DN
25 mm to DN 500 mm, and various gas meters.
The
Flow Measurement Laboratory once successfully joined in
intercomparison tests with flow measurement laboratories in US,
UK, Germany, Netherlands and Japan in 1986, and with the other
three laboratories in China (including Taiwan) and Korea (KRISS)in
1998.
