Supported by a group of experienced professionals engaged in research of explosion protection, EMC and environmental testing, reliability and quality management system, as well as five registered lead auditors and auditors, the Section is of the capability to provide equitable consultation service on quality management system and various technical affairs, being independent of calibration and testing activities. Since 1993, the Section has successfully provided 100-odd enterprises with consultation service on quality management system.

The section is capable of providing consultation services on:

    1)  Quality management system against ISO 9000, ISO 14000, VDA 6.1, QS9000, ISO/IEC 17025;

    2)  Production licence for measuring instruments and explosion-protected electrical apparatus;

    3)  Explosion protection, reliability, environmental influence resistance and EMC interference immunity technologies;

    4)  Personal training on metrology, testing and verification methods, quality management system, FTA, S-FMEA (VDA 4.2), statistics, measuring system analysis (MSA), project management, quality improvement, quality related cost, and ISO 9001 internal auditor.
