and Environmental Test Laboratory

The
laboratory was accredited as an international one by Lloyd¡¯s
Register of Shipping in 1987. The Reliability Technology Center of
Instrumentation of the Ministry of Machinery Industry was
established here in 1993.

and development of reliability engineering and environmental
testing technologies of instruments, electrical equipment
and control systems for various industries, civil and
military use, spaceflight, aviation, automobile, marine and
communication, as well as technical information and
consultation services.

Dry heat; Damp heat; Change of temperature; Temperature shock;
Mould growth; Salt mist; Protection by enclosure; Dielectric
strength; Vibration (sinusoidal, random); Shock; Bump;
Inclination; Drop and topple; Free fall; Combined temperature and
vibration; Combined temperature, humidity and solar radiation;
Sulphur dioxide corrosion; Hardness; Torsion and tensile at output
terminal; Performance of climatic environmental testing equipment;
Checking and calibration of vibration test equipment; and etc.

As
yet, the laboratory has tested more than 6000 products from China,
US, Germany, UK, Israel, Singapore, Japan, etc.
The
laboratory has completed seven state key scientific research
projects in seventh, eighth and ninth national five-year plan
periods, of which five were awarded National Scientific and
Technological Progress Prize. It has drafted more than ten
national and professional standards concerning reliability design,
testing and evaluation, vibration conditions and testing, methods
and guidance of sulphur dioxide test and sulfureted hydrogen test,
and published several professional books.
